Doing the Rounds: Prohibition Chic

It seems that the ever-popular fixation with the Roaring 20′s is still going strong. We’ve seen flapper dresses galore on both the High-Street and in designer collections, particularly since Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection which gave a nod to Art Deco geometry and Gatsby-esque drop waists.

For Elle Ukraine’s April 2012 Edition, Natalia Siodmiak models Jazz-Age inspired pieces by Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, and Alaia, in a shoot which centres around the gaieties of Parisian street life. Similarly, Herieth Paul evokes some of that Josephine Baker-style glamour for Flare Magazine’s April 2012 Edition, modelling gowns by Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana.
