Tomas Maier’s Cruise Collection for Bottega Veneta was unveiled on Thursday. The designer credits the intricate frescoes of Tiepolo and Veronese as the source of his inspiration. This is clearly evident in his beautiful patterned pieces modelled by Hanne Gaby Odiele and Kasia Struss (above). There’s definitely an old-world feminine charm to these particular looks which I love.
Cleverly though, the collection contains a myriad of pieces, intertwining fluid masculine tailoring, sport-luxe, and elegant evening glamour. I feel the whole line really caters to every aspect of the Bottega Veneta woman’s lifestyle. Top to toe pastel was also a must for inclusion, as well as consideration for pool-wear and weekend down-time looks. You can see Maier’s take on the off-duty tracksuit, plus the rest of the presentation here at Style.com.
