Capturing Beauty: Armani Privé

The backstage beauty and detail looks at the Armani Privé Couture show are how my alter-ego envisages her bridal look!

Seriously, I don’t even have to go as far as to say ‘alter-ego’. There are definite elements here that could potentially be a part of my dream wedding…

I love the slick 1920s-style crimped and cropped hair, the smoky makeup high on the brow bone, all set against the delicate jewelled veils and chic velvet hats.

Maybe one of those little hats with a veil attached would make a stunning bridal headpiece?? I really should turn designer/milliner…I’m sure Stephen Jones would benefit from my innovative ideas, HA!

Aside from the exquisite finishing touches, I thought the collection itself was a knockout. So elegant and uniform, growing spectacularly more dramatic towards the finale. Why not check it out here?
