So my great buy of the weekend has to be J Brand’s ‘Houlihan’ skinny cargo jeans in ‘Tigers Eye’. Just happened to pop by my favourite denim store, Trilogy, and snagged this pair for a steal. And it was the last pair in my size too. I just love fashion fate!

J Brand’s ‘Houlihan’ style was huge when the label released them in 2010, gaining a massive celeb following. In fact, they were so popular that Selfridges sold £20,000 worth of them in just one week when they first came on the market.

This colour was released for S/S 2012, following on from a wide range including mustard yellow, pale blue, baby pink, khaki, green and blue. I particularly love this colour as I don’t own a peach pair and this is unique in the fact it’s kind of a washed, burnt out orange/peach, giving it a stunning finish.

They’re also made from Japanese twill so super soft on the skin. And you can always rely on J Brand for a flattering cut. My classic blue and black skinnies are by them, precisely for that point.
