I think Bill Gaytten’s last collection for Dior is gorgeous- he’s certainly left a strong final impression before Raf Simons takes over creative directorship.
As expected from the French Couture house, the silhouette is emphasised, with several pieces harking back to Dior’s ‘New Look’ of the 1950s. Styling was kept minimal, with really only their signature bags, sweet cropped caps, and belts completing the accessory line-up.
Some stunning chic looks, perfect for the quintessential modern woman. It’ll be sad to see Gaytten’s exit, but if Raf Simon’s talent is anything to go by, we should still expect many more great things to come for Dior.
