Last Weekend saw The Frieze Art Fair come to Randall’s Island, New York. Sure enough, an arty event always draws a suitably attired crowd. I did enjoy the last Frieze in Regent’s Park, London, last October- I’m not a huge fan of conceptual art but it’s a good talking point of course. Particularly when you don’t notice the ‘art’ as it’s somehow a part of the floor and so you, ahem, unceremoniously walk all over it…There are always some ridiculously hilarious things on display. Check this out for example:

(Hmm, I laughed so hard when I saw this- a tiny white horse on an oversized plinth. And it’s clearly so special it was practically one of the only pieces to be cordoned off. Didn’t actually find out why…)
There’s no denying though that the people and fashion watching potential is great. Clearly there was some great style on offer this time round- I particularly love the clear, perspex heeled shoes. So futuristic, and they’ve got to be leg lengtheners for sure!
